La Perfecta Combinación is an iconic salsa album originally released in 1970 on the Fania Records label. It represents one of the most successful collaborations between Dominican flautist and bandleader Johnny Pacheco and Puerto Rican vocalist Pete "El Conde" Rodríguez.

This partnership is fundamental in the history of tropical music because it solidified the sound of "salsa clásica" or "salsa dura," blending traditional Cuban rhythms with the New York style. Produced by Jerry Masucci, it marked an era in which Pacheco and Rodríguez were nicknamed "Los Compadres" due to their perfect musical chemistry.
