Miles Okazaki presents his debut leader album on Pi Recordings, titled Trickster. The recording features a quartet of distinguished musicians: guitarist Okazaki, pianist Craig Taborn, bassist Anthony Tidd, and drummer Sean Rickman.

The conceptual foundation of the record is based on the mythological archetype of the trickster—a figure that disrupts order and boundaries to create something new.
