Kurt Zanderlink has compiled all 2 albums left on the ERATO label in his later years.Shostakovich was also released as a project for the 50th anniversary of his death. The size of the scale is noteworthy in both works that I was good at!This is the first SACD!SACD of digital recording project 7th!With new explanation

In 1992 and '91, when he was in his final years of conducting, he suddenly recorded 2 famous performances by Kurt Xandelink on the ERATO label, and compiled them into a 2・disc set.Mahler is one of the most representative of the 1979 edition, which is larger in scale than the previous edition, and clearly shows the state of Zanderlink in his later years, including the high functionality of the Philharmonia Orchestra. In addition, the 4th movement of Mahler was recorded on the head of DISC 2 on the commercial board, but this time I stored all songs on each DISC.Shostakovich is also a re-recording, but the content that can be said to be the final answer of the master who took up this No. 15 many times, and the convincing interpretation that unravels the essence of the song is unique to Xandelink. For this release, we have made a new SACD from the digital master of the home country for the representative masterpiece of the later years of Xandelink.Mastering by SACD layer and CD layer. With new commentary.

Mahler once recorded with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra in 1979 with ETERNA, and this 1992 record will be re-recorded.There were few Mahler sound sources of Zandelink, and in the session recording, this recording and No. 9 with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, "Song of the Earth", No. 10 (Cook version), "Song of the Wandering Youth" were left (Symphony 3 songs are SACD hybrid of Tower planning board of another label, German original as 0301191bc in 2018). ・Reprinted from analog Master tape). The performance was probably about 3 of these symphonies and No. 4 (with live recordings with the BBC Philharmonic in 1978).There were also footage of the 1987 North German Radio Symphony Orchestra, the 1982 No. 9 with the BBC Philharmonic, and the 1988 BBC Philharmonic's Song of the Earth.Unlike other conductors, it is rare for a symphony to be dominated by Mahler's late years, and it is also valuable that he included No. 10 (Cook's version) in his repertoire. The basic interpretation of this 1989 edition is the same as the 1979 edition and other live performances, but it is characterized by more accuracy by the session recording. The high-performance orchestra thoroughly interprets the Xander Link, and it can be said that it is the final answer of this song.It can be said that it is a performance that interprets the score objectively from a musical point of view, which is not influenced by emotions in a stance. In that sense, it is an orthodox performance, and while the "hot" performance attracted a lot of support at the time of release, this "cool" performance may be worth noting again.
