SBB - FOS (2024)

FOS (2024) is a studio album by the legendary Polish band SBB (Silesian Blues Band / Szukaj, Burz, Buduj), led by multi-instrumentalist, composer, and vocalist Józef Skrzek.

The album's title, FOS, stands for the names of the three members of the band's classic and modern lineups: Friendly / Original / Silesian (as well as a reference to the names Józef Freund / Oli / Skrzek in various internal concepts of the project).

Spatial, meditative, cosmic, and improvisational, the album is filled with Skrzek's (Minimoog) signature analog synth canvases, deep basslines, expressive guitar solos by Apostolis Anthimos, and a dense, flexible rhythm section. The soundscape combines the vintage spirit of 70s European prog with clean, modern production.
