Jocelyn Mienniel - & Les Instruments Migrateurs (2026)

Jocelyn Mienniel's project, developed during an artistic residency at Comptoir/Halle Roublot, aims to transcend cultural barriers through a dialogue of ethnic instruments. A series of thirteen concerts brought together musicians from five continents to create spontaneous improvisations at the intersection of tradition and modernity. Mienniel redefines the 50,000-year history of the flute by integrating virtuosic performance into electro-acoustic landscapes. The artist's work demonstrates the unity of global cultures, transforming authentic sounds from various nations into contemporary forms of interdisciplinary art.
