Al Bano & Romina Power was an Italian romantic pop duo formed in 1970, popular throughout Europe, consisting of the then-singer-actor couple, southern Italian Albano Carrisi and American-born Romina Francesca Power. The two members met on the set of the musical comedy Every Song Is Yours in 1967. They married in 1970 and formed a duo. Their best-known songs were Felicità, Ci sarà, Libertà and Sharazan. In 1984, they won the famous Italian Sanremo Song Festival with the song Ci sarà. They participated in the Eurovision Song Contest twice. In 1976, they competed with the Italian-English mixed song We'll Live It All Again, the only Italian song not entirely in Italian. They participated in the 1985 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Magic, Oh Magic. They finished seventh both times.
Most of their albums were recorded in Spanish, and they achieved great success in Spain and Latin America. Their last album together was released in 1996, Ancora… Zugabe; they separated in 1999, and the band disbanded.
