Sarah Belle Reid - Manifold (2026) [Hi-Res]

Manifold (2023) is an electroacoustic project that investigates the relationship between temporal perception and memory. The work utilizes a combination of trumpet and interactive electronics, specifically analog modular synthesizers and MaxMSP. By employing granular processing, chaotic circuits, and feedback loops, the composition transforms acoustic instrumental textures into a fluid, surreal sonic environment. Designed for quadraphonic or multi-channel surround sound, the piece creates an immersive auditory experience ranging from frantic improvisation to structured silence. Since its premiere, the project has been showcased at prestigious international experimental music festivals across North America and Europe.
