Four years since releasing her last full-length album, “Good Girls”, Georgia English is reintroducing herself through a 9-song exploration of womanhood, love, and self-advocacy through the lens of the great American road-trip.

Featuring a traditional rock’n’roll line up of drums (Hayden Cotcher), bass (Christine Moad), keys and organ (Jon Upton), and crunchy guitars (English and Nick Bullock), this album is an homage to the legacy of roots-rock and American storytelling. While many of the sounds that inspired English in her formative years were built on male-centric experiences, “Learn to Drive” aims to celebrate authentic female vulnerability and strength, and shine a light on perspectives that have gone largely unexplored for generations. Songs vary from finding the courage to trust someone with your heart, to being a proud disappointment to members of the baby boomer generation with outdated views, to taking a band on tour.

This album was co-produced and mixed by Nick Bullock (Awake Studios), and mastered by grammy-nominated engineer Kim Rosen, and features 7 original songs by Georgia English and two co-writes.
