These were all recorded DIY at home in Taylors bedroom. They sit somewhere in between genres, experimenting with indie, folk, acoustic, and alternative.

Taylor went through a time when songwriting was becoming difficult for him. Unhappy with a lot of the songs he had been writing, a transitional period looking back now, he went through his old files on his hard drive and felt like he was developing an album that he could easily envision and release.
