The VFCO is not only a leading chamber orchestra, touring major concert halls and festivals worldwide, it is also a global ambassador of the Verbier Festival. Comprised of elite alumni of the Verbier Festival Orchestra, its members hold positions in top international ensembles. Led by Music Director Gábor Takács-Nagy, VFCO collaborates with renowned soloists such as Martha Argerich, Yuja Wang, András Schiff, Joshua Bell, Daniil Trifonov, and Gautier Capuçon. The anniversary album presents the ensemble with renowned conductors such as Sir Simon Rattle, Antonio Pappano, Maxim Vengerov, Kent Nagano, Michael Tilson Thomas and András Schiff.
