Lena Jonsson - The Power of Polska (2026)

On March 6, 2026, Swedish violinist Lena Jonsson and Finnish accordionist Johanna Juhola will release their collaborative album, The Power of Polska, via Nordic Notes. This project unites two acclaimed masters of the Scandinavian folk scene, offering a modern interpretation of the traditional polska rhythm. The musicians blend the folk traditions of their respective countries with original compositions, incorporating elements of improvisation, tango, rock, and bluegrass.
