Bono / Burattini's debut album, Suono In Un Tempo Trasfigurato, is a hypnotic exploration inspired by the avant-garde cinema of Maya Deren. Utilizing a minimalist instrumental palette—limited to the Juno 60 synthesizer and drums—the duo crafts dense psychedelic landscapes and cosmic grooves. The music synthesizes 1970s Italian library music traditions, experimental electronics, and Can-influenced krautrock. Sparse vocal arrangements and an emphasis on organic pulsation create a timeless atmosphere that fluctuates between futuristic sci-fi aesthetics and ritualistic dance.
