Salwa Jaradat - Nafas (نَفَس) (2026) [Hi-Res]

Palestinian vocalist and musicologist Salwa Jaradat has released her debut album, Nafas, culminating years of research into Arabic musical traditions and feminist discourse. Comprising six compositions developed with a regional ensemble in Lebanon, the record reinterprets classical heritage through the lenses of personal experience and historical memory. The work serves as a meditative exploration of continuity and resistance, foregrounding intentional vocals and a contemporary approach to inhabiting traditional forms.
