To kick-start their new series of artist retrospectives, 20:20 Vision looks back at their long relationship with Montreal deep house don Fred Everything. What we get is a mix of classic cuts (the lightly disco-tinged warmth of 'Without', the jazzy brilliance of 'Winter Blues', the San Francisco style dubby deep house soul of 'For Your Pleasure'), collaborations ('Derby' with Atjazz, an artist with whom the French Canadian has recently recorded a fresh LP), key remixes (Maurice Fulton's spaced-out jazz-funk version of 'Elevate', Jimpster jazzing up Joseph Malik collab 'This Is Not a Club Song') and previously unheard revisions (a fizzing, futurist deep house version of Random Factor's 'Broken Mirror' and a pleasingly bouncy re-wire of the Georg Levin voiced 'Movin' On').
