Killer Latin sounds from the 70s Spanish scene – and a record that would be much more at home in the New York scene of the 60s! The percussion is very lively – in a way that takes us back to the sound of Cortijo's combo in the 60s – and is mixed with a sweet range of salsa flourishes on saxes and trumpets, and held together with some great electric bass work too! A few tunes bring in a slight South American flourish, but in ways that seem to illustrate a wider Latin vision from Ramoncito – and titles include "Severa", "Dejalo Que Suba", "Avisale A Mi Compay", "Plechanga", "Con La Punta Del Pie", and a sweet version of "Che Che Cole".
