Canadian rockers LEGGAT was one of a number of bands involving Hughie Leggat, whose band history stretch back to the 60's (Gordon Leggat, Nucleus (8) - Nucleus, Lords Of London) and well into the nineties. This particular band came to be when his former band Private Eye (11) disbanded due to lack of label support, and he then decided to form a new outfit along with his brother Gordon Leggat. This lead to the one and only production of this act, Illuminations from 1982.

Hughie Leggat would later resurface for the revival of one of his old bands, A Foot in Coldwater, while the Leggatt Bros. hooked up again in 2004 in blues band The Mississippi Hippies.
