LEITER proudly presents the debut release from Blair / Huber, the duo of award-winning saxophonist Darius Blair and distinguished guitarist Niko Huber. Part of Frankfurt’s vibrant new jazz wave, they nod to icons like Charlie Hunter, Julian Lage, and Snarky Puppy’s Michael League and Bill Laurance while carving out a sound entirely their own discreetly inventive, warmly minimalist, and quietly captivating.

Recorded with Nicolas Butka at Soultize Studios in Offenbach, their four-track EP IN A NEW ORDER arrives March 20, 2026, marking a formal introduction to a duo that has already bewitched audiences from clubs to castles. Defined by Blair’s melodic flair and Huber’s unmistakably pure guitar tone, the music is shaped by a deliberate focus on the essence of each idea. “What does a song need to be a song? Let’s not play anything more,” they summarise a minimalist approach that lends the EP its clarity, intimacy and quiet intensity.
