Peters & Lee – The Farewell Album (1980)

Peters and Lee were a successful British folk/pop duo of the 1970s, comprising Lennie Peters, born as Leonard George Sargend (1939 – 10 October 1992) and Dianne Lee, born as Dianne Littlehales (1950-). They came to prominence in the UK after winning the TV talent show Opportunity Knocks seven weeks in a row at the start of 1973.

After the album's release and the completion of their farewell tour in 1980, the duo took a break from performing together for several years. Their final television appearance before this hiatus was on London Night Out in November 1980, performing four songs from the album. Later, in 1986, Lenny and Diane reunited and performed together until Lenny Peters's death in 1992.
