Nicolas Remondino’s "Hìeratico" is an introspective exploration of sonic materiality and twilight states. At the heart of the album is modified percussion that mimics the tactile properties of natural elements, ranging from the snap of dry foliage to metallic shimmers. The interplay of rare dialects, acoustic instruments, and muted electronics creates a liminal atmosphere between light and shadow. Bringing together a global network of collaborators, the project constructs a "sonic forest" where the drum kit functions not as a rhythmic timekeeper, but as a deeply textural, almost tangible instrument.
