A beautifully contemplative album from Samsa'ra -- a trio that features nujazz keyboardist Bugge Wesseltoft, working in a more traditional jazz format! The feel here is somewhere between late Bill Evans and some of the more abstract 70s sessions on ECM -- lots of space, sound, and colors -- dominated mostly by Bugge's work on acoustic piano, but also featuring strong percussion from Paal Nilssen-Love and bass and effects from Bjornar Andresen. Titles include "Without Excuse", "That May Be", "A Quiet Place", and "Remains".
