The collaboration between Till Hillbrecht and Zimoun is a minimalist experiment where nine simple gestures performed on a single instrument are transformed into vast, industrial-ambient soundscapes. The work is built on contrasts, clashing pure harmonies with harsh overdrive to create an effect of "sonic friction." The music ranges from spacious reverberations to claustrophobic textures, exploring the limits of resonance and repetition through elemental, morphing vistas.
