The end of the archives is approaching...
In the least surprising turn of events ever, I don't remember making this. Although since I know I made it in the beginning of 2019, I have a pretty good idea why I did.
A time I was clearly in more orchestral, sadder, quieter(ish), I hate to say drone and despise to say it more "ambient" states.
Well I'm always in a sad state, but you know what I mean.
I thought about saving this for later... I'm not sure why. I do that a lot, as I do in "life," constantly waiting for something, someone, somewhere
to be the time, place, or thing that's somehow going to make it all right and all make sense.
But that time never comes.
I honestly thought about not releasing anything this month, I feel so empty. And an album that comes from the emptiness only pushes me in further.
But that's exactly why this needed to be heard. Because sometimes 7 years later is the right time.
Sometimes it takes that long for something you made to catch up to you.
Or finally be the words you were trying to say.
Nowadays, it seems more than ever, there may be no tomorrow.
All I can do is hope you feel this today.
Or whenever today comes.
