"Origins Fragments" is an experimental project by Chris Bartels (Elskavon), created through the radical deconstruction of his 2023 album. Eschewing traditional remixing, the artist employed techniques of distortion, granular synthesis, and extreme compression to transform original melodies into unstable sonic landscapes. Inspired by the philosophy of "brokenness" as a creative resource, the album focuses on instinctive decision-making and the rejection of classical studio standards. It is an introspective work where errors and deformations form the basis of a new musical identity, completing the transformative arc of the original material through the lens of absolute creative freedom.
