The record transitions from their 1987 indie roots toward a sophisticated blend of American alt-folk and German electronics, exploring themes of societal pressure, psychological struggles, and resilience. Produced by Jessica Corcoran at London’s Perry Vale Studios, it serves as the final recording at that historic location. The self-released vinyl edition is accompanied by a tour of Ireland and features nostalgic 1980s photography from the band’s archives.
