Crooked Mouth - Crooked Mouth (Remastered) (2012) [Hi-Res]

The Crooked Mouth project originated in 2011 during a period of harsh isolation in northern British Columbia, where the author recorded initial demos at a fisheries conservation facility. The creative method is founded on principles of total independence, nature mysticism, and a synthesis of local mythology with acoustic instrumentation. The recordings feature a broad array of instruments, ranging from classical guitars to ethnic drums and animal antlers. Despite the technical loss of the original session files in 2014, the surviving master recordings were restored in 2021, documenting the project's pivotal evolution from an experimental oddity into the artist's primary creative vehicle.
