Hello Sailor (1977) is the self-titled debut studio album by the New Zealand rock band Hello Sailor, which has become a classic of local music. It made history as the first album recorded entirely in New Zealand to achieve gold status.
The album reached number 17 on the New Zealand Albums Chart and earned the band the awards for Album of the Year, Best Group, Best Producer, and Best Engineer at the 1978 New Zealand Music Awards.
