After a six-year hiatus, Chaz Prymek and Matthew Sage have released their new collaborative album, Shelter. Recorded in a rural Colorado studio, the work is built upon live electric guitar and piano improvisations, augmented by layers of acoustic instruments and synthesizers. The compositions feature a pastoral and melodic character, deeply influenced by the landscapes of the American Mountain West. Shelter marks a new chapter in the artists' careers, synthesizing years of sonic exploration and significant personal life changes.
