The On and Ons - Luminary (2026)

The On and Ons are a Sydney, Australia-based rock/power pop quartet with a string of critically acclaimed releases on Citadel Records plus French and US stand-alone vinyl singles. In 2023 the band had a “Coolest Song In The World” on Little Steven’s Underground Garage with “Let Ya Hair Down” from the album of the same name .
In 2024 The On and Ons signed with US label Jem Records who have released a compilation album ‘Come On In’ plus the band’s latest album ‘Luminary’ which was released in April 2026 and contains 14 brand new songs which the band consider their best yet.

As far as Power Pop from Australia, there is no one like The On & Ons. Coming out of Sydney, their albums are one great track after another. They had a Coolest Song in The World with "Let Ya Hair Down!" Hearing that song on LSUG was the spark that led me to sign them.
Jem released "Come On In," a compilation of songs from their previous Austrailan albums (with 3 new songs) in 2024. We are releasing their new album, "Luminary" in April. I think it's one of the best albums to come out this year. I am confident it will show up on many "best of" lists this December.

"Luminary" is14 tracks of 3 minute "Jem's." The band is led by lead singer/songwriter Glen Morris, with his brother Brian on drums, Clyde Bramley (formerly of Hoodoo Gurus) on bass and John Hoey (Died Pretty) on keyboards.
The album was recorded in Sydney. I thought the songs were great but needed a remix and emailed Clyde "when you come to America in September, we are going to see Kurt Reil to discuss a re-mix." The songs you hear on the album are the brand new Kurt Reil re-mixes.
