Undreamed Shores brings together three contemporary string quartets composed for and premiered by the Jupiter String Quartet. In To Unpathed Waters, Undreamed Shores, Michi Wiancko traces a series of vividly imagined musical scenes inspired by nature. Stephen Andrew Taylor's Chaconne / Labyrinth, composed during the pandemic, revolves around a repetitive harmonic cycle and uses pure intonation to evoke the tension between stasis and search. Imprimatur (String Quartet No. 2) by Kati Agócs unfolds like a continuous rhapsodic meditation.
