The Deuce Coupes – Hotrodder's Choice (1963)

Hotrodder's Choice is an instrumental album by The Deuce Coupes, released in 1963 on Del-Fi Records. The record is steeped in the surf rock and hot rod styles characteristic of the California scene of the early 1960s.
The band was a project of brothers Lolly and Pat Vegas (later famous as members of the band Redbone).
The recording featured legendary Los Angeles session musicians such as Glen Campbell, Hal Blaine, Tommy Tedesco, and Leon Russell.
The music is filled with the sounds of roaring engines and squealing tires, a popular trope in the hot rod genre.
The song "Nite Prowler" from this album was included on the soundtrack to the film Home Alone 3.
