The late Northen Soul legend Nolan Porter joined forces with UK-based soul heroes Stone Foundation in 2011 for a series of landmark gigs. For the first time on vinyl, the performance at London’s legendary 100 Club is now available for Record Store Day. Pressed on white vinyl, the performance boasts Nolan’s timeless classics Keep On Keepin’ On and If I Could Only Be Sure alongside other favourites from his career, as well as Stone Foundation’s very own track Tracing Paper. The release captures a thrilling collaboration at a time before Stone Foundation would themselves go on to considerable success, and is a reminder of a celebratory night that lives long in the memory of all who were lucky enough to be present.
