The album is a concept piece that explores a science fiction narrative about a relationship between a human and a humanoid, questioning the nature of love and emotion in a world governed by code. Musically, it blends the band's signature cinematic progressive rock with modern orchestral passages, electronic textures, and powerful guitar riffs.
The album features the core lineup of Daniele Giovannoni (drums/keys/vocals), Valerio Sgargi (vocals/keys/guitar), Alex Massari (guitars), and Alessandro Cefalì (bass). Special guests include Adam Holzman, Randy McStine, and vocalist Susanna Brigatti.
