The French duo Chevreuil, founded by graduates of the École Des Beaux-Arts, returns with a new double album titled "Stadium" after a twenty-year hiatus. The group frames its work not as traditional rock music but as a performative sound installation, utilizing concepts of "magnetic" performance and a quadraphonic audio system. The creative method of the collective, which previously collaborated with Steve Albini, is situated at the intersection of sonic architecture, minimalism, and interdisciplinary scientific concepts. This new release explores the physical nature of vibration and sound transformation through the lens of conceptual art.
