Denis Leloup - Bach's Groove (2026) [Hi-Res]

Initiated by the Museum of Grenoble, this musical program explores the profound connection between the legacy of J.S. Bach and jazz improvisation. The project merges Baroque and contemporary aesthetics within a technically demanding repertoire written for an unconventional trio: trombone, accordion, and tuba. The creators aim to bridge the centuries by leveraging the unique tonal possibilities of these instruments, reinterpreting classical canons through the lens of groove and jazz harmony.
