"Buzzy's Buzzy" is the debut solo album by American folk rock musician and multi-instrumentalist Buzzy Linhart. Recorded in 1968 in London on the same 4-track tape machine used to record The Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," the album became a milestone in the development of the singer-songwriter genre.
The album is a blend of folk rock, psychedelic rock, jazz, and even Indian influences (raga rock).
The recording featured the Welsh progressive rock band Eyes of Blue, and Big Jim Sullivan on guitar.
In 2008, the album was reissued as Buzzy's Buzzy. In this version, Linhart rearranged the track listings, moving "End Song" to the very beginning.
Buzzy Linhart is also known as a co-writer of Bette Midler's famous song "Friends" and as a session musician who played vibraphone for Jimi Hendrix (track "Drifting").
