"Ritmo Caliente" is the second album by Peruvian percussionist Coco Lagos and his band Sus Orates, released in 1970. Considered a classic of Latin American music, the album blends descarga, boogaloo, and Latin jazz.
The energetic instrumental sessions emphasize percussion. The recording featured such stars of the Peruvian scene as pianist Alfredo Linares and tinbalero Mario Allison.
