The new exciting LEGACY album marks the return of great international music legends. LEGACY, the new band founded by Alan Clark (Dire Straits, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Tina Turner, Bee Gees, Elton John, Phil Collins, George Harrison), Phil Palmer (Dire Straits, Eric Clapton, Iggy Pop, Bob Dylan, Tina Turner, Pino Daniele, George Michael, Robbie Williams, Renato Zero, Claudio Baglioni) and Marco Caviglia (Steve Phillips and Brendan Crocker from The Notting Hillbillies, Richard Bennett, William Topley, Paolo Bonfanti) featuring musical legends Trevor Horn, Danny Cummings, Steve Ferrone, Mel Collins and Primiano Di Biase. The LEGACY project began in Los Angeles last November 2016 with Steve Ferrone and Pino Palladino at Steve’s studio and continued in Rome at Forward Studios where the band completed the entire album.

“It was a natural process,” says Phil Palmer of the album. “It's the same method we have always worked with Pino Palladino and Steve Ferrone and all the others. There is a chemistry that can’t be thrown away as it happens rarely.”

Adds Clark: “We’ve just finished making and producing with Phil Palmer, the Legacy album. It was 90% fun and 10% hard work. This is a completely new, original project and if there is any resemblance to Dire Straits, it reflects the influence that I and Phil, Danny, Mel and Steve had on that band.” Artistically produced by Phil Palmer and Alan Clark, the album has been recorded in Los Angeles (Steve Ferrone’ Studio) and recorded, mixed and mastered at Forward Studios in Grottaferrata (Rome) by Stefano Quarta (Resident Sound Engineer) and Carmine Simeone (Resident Mastering Engineer).
