Marielle V Jakobsons - Glass Canyon (2016)

Marielle Jakobsons has released her solo album Glass Canyon, marking her first major work under her own name following a period of active involvement in various collaborative projects. For this recording, the artist intentionally restricted her instrumentation to synthesizer and violin, exploring the convergence of electronic and acoustic timbres. Developed over three years, the album blends elegiac string arrangements with pulsating sound design, creating a unique space at the intersection of neoclassical music and otherworldly ambient.
