Dragon’s Domain Records has announced the release of "The Golden Age of Crime Dramas, Volume 1," an anthology featuring world-premiere soundtracks by Harry Sukman and Barry Gray from the early 1960s. The release pairs the score for Samuel Fuller’s noir drama "Underworld, U.S.A." with the music from Gerry Anderson’s first live-action feature, "Crossroads to Crime." This digitally remastered edition holds significant historical value, documenting the formative years of these renowned composers and the early output of AP Films. Despite the technical constraints of the archival source tapes, the album offers a high-quality immersive experience into the atmosphere of classic crime cinema. The limited-edition release is scheduled for late March 2026.
