On May 8, 2026, the young Italian duo Taxology (Andrea Rizzi and Giuseppe Bitonte) will release their debut album, "A Deep Dive In The Colourful And Mysterious Garden Of Mr. Taxology," via NOS Records. The record is a 15-track conceptual release where botanical taxonomy serves as a metaphor for exploring human consciousness and emotions. Musically, the work blends psychedelic rock, vintage aesthetics, cinematic atmospheres, and orchestral elements, utilizing a wide array of unconventional instruments, including the sitar and mandolin. The album is framed as a surreal immersion into the listener's internal "sonic herbarium."
