Clay Monke - The Idyllian (2026) [Hi-Res]

Musician Luke Phillips, known for his numerous experimental and psychedelic projects, returns to his Clay Monke alias with a new full-length album, "The Idyllian." Developed over two years, the record is the result of the project's longest and most deliberate composition process to date. Shifting from past releases, this new work leans toward a neo-classical style, seamlessly blending deep atmospheric ambient textures and poignant piano and string arrangements with psychedelic flourishes and electronic embellishments. The album features a guest appearance by Declan Haughian of Ceann Capaill on one track, with mastering handled by Bill Henderson. An exclusive cassette release featuring a Side B is planned for the future.
