At the beginning of 2023, I accidentally came across a piece for guitar - Portu errota - by a Basque composer I had never heard of: Antón Larrauri. Being of Basque origin myself, I started looking for other composers and works related to the Basque Country. I discovered a whole repertoire of guitar music that I had no idea existed; some of these works had rarely been performed or had never even been recorded. Thus began the story of this album ...
