Ben Aylon, Aly Ndiaye Rose - LAAMB (2026) [Hi-Res]

The LAAMB project, created by Aly Ndiaye Rose and Ben Aylon, focuses on the traditional rhythms of Senegalese wrestling. Rooted in the Serer traditions of the Sine Saloum region, these percussion rhythms accompany all stages of wrestling ceremonies and bouts. Recorded in Senegal with the participation of hereditary family drummers, the project documents six core laamb rhythms, compiled into an album, video recordings, and musical transcriptions.
