Invites Jane Monheit is a collaborative studio album released by the Portuguese big band Orquestra de Jazz do Algarve featuring American jazz vocalist Jane Monheit. Originally recorded and released digitally on December 15, 2023, the album documents a sophisticated intersection of European big band orchestration and traditional American jazz standards. The studio release followed a series of live collaborations in Portugal under the "Algarve All Jazz" cycle. Notably, Monheit performed with the orchestra at a widely praised, sold-out concert at the Cineteatro Louletano in Loulé on September 24, 2023, where she also conducted vocal masterclasses. The live chemistry and arrangements from these sessions directly inspired the tracking of the studio compilation.
