Giovanni Falzone, Giovanni Falzone Libera Band - Suite For Miles (2026) [Hi-Res]

Italian jazz trumpeter and composer Giovanni Falzone has developed a tribute program for the Time In Jazz 2026 festival to commemorate the centenary of Miles Davis. The project integrates custom arrangements of iconic Davis pieces spanning modal jazz to fusion with Falzone's own original compositions inspired by the legendary trumpeter's legacy. The material is performed by Falzone’s newly formed under-30 quintet, Libera Band. Centered on the core values of artistic freedom, stylistic fluidity, and social responsibility, the ensemble aims to manifest an idealized, barrier-free world through structured improvisation and collaborative synergy.
