The album Africa My Destiny is the result of a spontaneous creative alliance between the Jamaican McAnuff musical family (Winston, his daughter Nadia, and son Kush) and the band The Ligerians. Following a successful collaborative single titled "Colors" and a spring 2025 exploratory tour that revealed a deep synergy between the artists, the material was recorded in just three days at SoulNurse Studio. The work is characterized by a live, sincere atmosphere and highlights generational continuity. The album opens with a cover of the track "Be Careful" in memory of the late Matthew McAnuff, symbolizing the unbreakable family bond and the continuation of their musical legacy.
