The album Paint A Lady by Susan Christie and producer John Hill is a lost masterpiece of soft rock, psychedelic pop, and folk funk from the late 1960s. Recorded in 1969 following Susan's brief success with the novelty hit I Love Onions, the record was ahead of its time and remained unreleased due to the lack of a recording contract. After more than 40 years of hibernation, the original acetate was discovered by record collector Keith D'Arcy and subsequently released by Finders Keepers Records. The album achieved instant-classic status among rare folk and soft rock collectors, even sparking rumors of a modern studio hoax, with the 2018 edition marking its first official reissue.
