"Searching for Snails" is a solo studio album by British progressive rock and blues artist Doris Brendel, officially released on May 25, 2026, via Sky-Rocket Records.
The album is the seventh in-between album in Brendel's discography. These releases are created between large-scale projects with her main band and collaborations with guitarist Lee Dunham.
The release departs from strict prog rock or straightforward blues in favor of a lighter, eclectic, and playful sound. Critics have described it as a blend of '80s synth-pop, krautrock, folk, ironic storytelling, and elements the artist herself has dubbed "Jazz Fusion Elevator Metal."
