"Vietato ai minori di 18 anni?" (Italian for "Forbidden for those under 18?") is the third studio album by the Italian progressive rock band Jumbo, released in 1973 by Philips Records. It is considered a masterpiece and one of the most important, uncompromising records in the history of Italian progressive rock.
The question mark in the title is the band's irony at the rigid puritanism and hypocrisy of Italian society at the time.
The lyrics, written by the band's frontman, Alvaro Fella, openly addressed social issues taboo in the 1970s: drug addiction, alcoholism, prostitution, marginalization, and criticism of religion.
Due to its provocative content and outspoken lyrics, the album was completely banned from broadcast on state radio and television (at the time, only the RAI network). The album featured contributions from iconic figures of the Italian avant-garde: Franco Battiato (playing VCS3 synth oscillators) and Lino Capra Vaccina (percussion, bells).
