A new musical project presents a tribute album dedicated to the centenary of the birth of the prominent Italian jazz guitarist Franco Cerri. The recording features leading contemporary Italian jazz musicians who personally collaborated with the master. The tracklist includes Cerri's original compositions alongside his celebrated interpretations of jazz standards by Django Reinhardt, Chet Baker, and Billie Holiday. The project combines audiophile recording quality with modern arrangements while preserving the core elements of Cerri's style: elegance, swing, and Mediterranean lyricism. The album is conceptualized as a dialogue between generations and a poetic reimagining of European jazz heritage.
